meet the characters

Every passenger aboard The Murdér Express has a story to tell. Some are respected, some are feared, and some are hiding secrets they would rather keep buried.

Get to know the characters before you step aboard.

Detective Gilbért.jpg

Detective Gilbért

The Confident French Sleuth

Detective Gilbért is France’s most self-proclaimed brilliant mind, poised, poetic, and perpetually five seconds from declaring, “I ‘ave solved it!”

Detective Gilbért has a strong presence and is very confident, but has little patience. He is also prone to turning a simple clue into a grand revelation.

He has a flair for the dramatic, speaks with intensity, moves with grace, and believes no mystery is too great for his genius.

Dr Earheart.jpg

Dr Earhart

The Passionate Adventurer with a Taste for Danger

Dr. Earhart is a British globe-trotting, slightly eccentric archaeologist and academic, with a flair for the dramatic and strong storytelling abilities.

Fiercely intelligent, deeply principled, and occasionally long-winded, their life has been spent unearthing forgotten histories, not for glory, but for truth.

Part philosopher, part action hero, and part over-explainer at dinner parties, Earhart’s heart is always in the right place.

Saskia Selikov.jpg

Saskia Selikov

The Enigmatic Soviet Femme Fatale

Noticeable for her dry wit, sharp instincts, emotional detachment with flashes of intensity.

Capable of turning on charm or menace in a heartbeat. Saskia Selikov is a cool, calculated Soviet operative with a mysterious past and a talent for controlled chaos. Deadpan, seductive, and always one step ahead, she speaks in clipped tones and moves like someone who knows how to disappear without a trace.

Whether she’s charming a stranger or disarming a situation (literally), Saskia keeps her cards close, and a knife closer.

Tomothy Timmins.jpg

Tomothy Timmins

The Loveable, but Flustered Conductor!

Tomothy Timmons is the young, awkward, British and well-meaning conductor of the Murdér Express.

Once a waiter, now promoted to “man in charge,” Tomothy is eager to impress, quick to panic, and always a bit out of his depth.

Tomothy has loose morals and the instincts of a nervous meerkat, but he tries to hold the train together with optimism, awkward charm, and often, misplaced confidence.

Vera Valentine.jpg

Vera Valentine

The Glamorous Narcissist with a Venomous Tongue

Vera Valentine is a faded socialite clinging to past glory and inherited wealth. Known for grand entrances and haughty delivery, she’s shamelessly self-obsessed.

She sees the world as her stage and everyone else as background noise. A master of backhanded compliments and casual cruelty, Vera swans around with her beloved dog Fluffy.
