Terms & Conditions

1. It is the responsibility of the lead booker to share all information received from Funicular Productions to all guests in their party to ensure that each guest has a full understanding of the experience and the house rules. Reversely it is the responsibility of the lead booker to share all guest information with Funicular Productions that is key to the experience such as special dietary or access information.

2. We are a licensed premises and as such by law enforce a strict policy with regards to behaviour at our venue. We will refuse entry if upon arrival guests are drunk or demonstrate disorderly behaviour at the venue.

3. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes. 

4. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue which can be found at the website www.funicularproductions.com/FAQS

5. Please check your tickets and all details are as you were planning on booking them. Mistakes cannot always be rectified.

6. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.

7. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.

8. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.

9. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.

10. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

11. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the venue.

12. The venue operates a strict No Smoking Policy.

13. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.

14. If we do have to cancel a show we will aim to give you as much notice as possible.

15. The event listed on the purchased ticket is for ticket holders. Identification may be required. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

 

MESSAGE

We look forward to welcoming you and your guests on board The Murder Express. We ask all lead bookers to communicate the below with your guests and to share any special guest information with us.

Please arrive 10- 15 minutes prior to your show time to ensure we have plenty of time to check you in, please note a list of show times and door opening times below.

We are a theatre venue so ask all guests to consider this when attending our venue and to respect the performance, our team & fellow guests throughout.

 

We are a licensed premises serving alcohol and as such have to abide by strict licensing laws for the safety of our guests, staff & neighbours. Anyone arriving drunk will be refused entry.

Our menu is gluten, dairy and nut free and our main serving is a meat dish, however if you are pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan or kosha, we have a vegan menu available. We also have a halal option available upon request when booking. We have a dietary section when booking, so please complete this section when purchasing your tickets. We need to know any dietary requests at least 72 hrs before your show time. 

We have 3 steps to board the train carriage so if you require disabled access, such as use of our accessibility ramp, or have any other needs that we should be aware of, do please let know in advance by emailing info@funicularproductions.com. In the email, please detail your request, your name, contact details, the show you are booked on and we will ensure you are catered for accordingly.

Show Times and Door Opening Times

Weekdays:

6pm: Station doors and bar open at 17.45, the bar will close for last orders at 19.30.

8.30pm: Station doors and bar open at 20.30. The bar will close for last orders at 21.45. All guests will need to have cleared the venue by 22.30 at the latest.

Saturdays

1pm: Station doors and bar open at at 12.45.

3.30pm: Station doors and bar open at 15.15.

6pm: Station doors and bar open at 17.45. 

8.30pm: Station doors and bar open at 20.15.

Sundays

2.30pm: Station doors and bar open at 14.15. 

5pm: Station doors and bar open at 16.45.

Please leave plenty of time to find the venue. Address is Arch 63, Pedley Street, London, E1 5BW - The postcode often takes you to Asda on Vallance road or other various locations in the vicinity - the arch is a 3 min walk to the left of the tunnel / bridge from Asda, beyond the Just Eat depot.

We need to know at least 72 hrs before your show time. If you require disabled access then please email us in advance at info@funicularproductions.com detailing your request, your name, contact details, show you are booked on and we will ensure you are catered for accordingly.

We welcome with open arms everyone of dress from all eras. There is no official dress code. If you would like to step back in time and join in the 1930's theme then we welcome that, if you want to stick to your modern day evening or daytime attire that's absolutely fine too.
