Can I order food that isn’t on the menu?

 

You can't order food that isn't on the menu but we can cater for allergy or specific dietary requirements so long as we know ahead of time. We have a  set menu with a meat, a vegetarian, vegan and gluten free option. When booking your tickets you will be prompted to give us this information along with any allergies so please ensure you fill it in correctly as we need to prepare this for you. Unfortunately other than these dietary needs we are not able to change the menu ie. substitute beef for chicken or fish. If you didn't send us your requirements please send them immediately to dietary@funicularproductions.com - we must receive this at least 48hrs before your ticket date. 

 We have partnered with a BBC MasterChef Winner who is adding the finishing touches to our unique, delicious menu. We will be announcing this soon. 

 

Will we be sat together?

 

Our train carriage consists of 8 booths which very comfortably sit up to 8 guests each. Groups on the same booking will absolutely be sat together. If tickets are purchased separately, please make a note of the party you wish to join when booking in the 'Comments' section and we can accommodate this for you, alternatively you can email it to us at info@funicularproductions.com

 

What time should I arrive at the venue?

 

Please arrive at your start time as advertised on your ticket. We likely have shows before so unfortunately we can't open early. It is a 2 hour experience from the time the doors open which then gives you access to the bar and the train where you will eat and be entertained with our show. Once finished we do have to vacate the venue as we will likely have another train departing shortly afterwards. You shouldn't feel rushed however and there should be plenty of time and space to finish your drinks at the end in the Seven Sins Platform bar area.

 

Can you recommend anywhere nearby to have drink before we arrive or when we depart?

 

Our doors open promptly at the start time of your ticket, you then check in and enter the bar area where you can mingle for 20-30mins. Pedley Street is predominantly a residential area so no need to be here half an hour before as unfortunately you will have to wait outside. Literally only a stones throw away over the railway (8min walk) from Pedley Street Station are our friends at The Carpenters Arms . a lovely, local London pub with an infamous history as previously owned in the 1960's by The Kray Twins who grew up in nearby Vallance Road. We are also only an 8 minute walk to the infamous Brick Lane which hosts an abundance of bars, pubs and vintage market stalls, as well as 15 mins walk to Shoreditch High St, Bethnal Green and Spitalfields, so, plenty to wet your whistle before or after your visit to Pedley Street Station.

How accessible is Pedley Street Station?

 

Pedley Street Station has step free access from street to platform, bar and accessible bathroom.  There are 3 steps up to the train, however we have a ramp that can allow wheelchair access. Please contact us at least 24 hours before the date of your show if you require any assistance, to make sure your experience is as smooth as possible.

Will I get to meet The MasterChef?

 

Our MasterChef partners design our menus and our fabulous in house Kitchen team headed up by our head chef Nana bring them to life daily. With this in mind our MasterChef partners are not at the venue cooking venue but we do have them to thank for the creation of our delicious menus which I'm sure you will agree is  consistently excellent. 

 

Can I bring a birthday cake or a bottle of bubbly for a birthday celebration?

 

Our menu is filling and you likely won’t have space for cake! We have a set menu which includes a dessert and limited space at our venue with a busy kitchen to store so we unfortunately cannot cater for this. Due to fire regulations, we are also not allowed to have open flames at the venue. We will happily sing with you though!

 

I cannot make my session, can I change my tickets?

 

This sounds simple enough, however, tickets are selling and shows are filling so by all means do ask us if it is a necessity but our ticket agent Design My Night have a no refund, no change policy. If it is a necessity please let us know immediately and we can see if there is space however changes within 72 hours we cannot process.
